The human body is a very complex system where you can find the most interesting
creations of life. Our organs have been developing for thousands of years, and
the results of this long time of evolution, are simply amazing. For me, the
most amazing one is the eye, the organ that helps the brain to see the world by
transforming the light into electrical impulses. Back in time, the eye was a
huge advantage to survive, with the sense of vision we could see the predators
around us and escape from them. We started using it to see what we were
hunting, eating and distinguish colors, animals, in general, all the things in
the world. In spite of the amount years of evolution, the eye has the same
function has many years ago, as I said, with our eyes we can see the world and
distinguish the things around us. If you forget where your eyes are, they are
in the middle of our face, separated by our nose. The typical adult eye has
an anterior to posterior diameter of 24 millimeters, a volume of six cubic
centimeters, and a mass of 7.5 grams.
However, they can be affected by some illnesses
caused by many factors, the most common are:
1. Cataracts
2. Diabetic Retinopathy
3. Macular Degeneration
4. Refractive Errors
5. Glaucoma
Here is some tips to protect your eyesight, by keeping it healthy.

diabetes and high blood pressure
