In my opinion...

Chile has many topics that divide our country, in this post I am gonna tell my opinion about some of them.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?
The Marijuana has been around or society for a long time in Chile, the laws that regulate it are so bad and contradictory that they are incapable to manage the situation. I think that the best path to reach an agreement is the modification of the current laws based in the pros and cons of it. I am not very informed about the effects of Marijuana because I am not a user, but I know that scientific researches demonstrated that Marijuana has positive effects in some treatments but they are very specific ones. In other hand, Marijuana is a drug; it's very addictive so you can have social, mental, systemic problems by abused of it. In my case, I will use it only if have a specific illness that can be treated with it.

What is your opinion about Immigration?
The human being has been migrating for almost all his existence, It's a natural way to find a better place to live and fell comfort for you and your family. Immigration is something that cannot be deny to anyone but It has to be regulated by the laws to prevent some criminal activities.

What is your opinion about women in the military?

Women are taking a big place in our society and they are reaching the military forces. This fact does not surprise me because woman participated in many big combats along our history and they are not just nurses or something similar, they were active soldiers in each one. I recommend a book called “The unwomanly face of war" by Svetlana Alexievich, I read this book long time ago and I learned a lot of woman in war.

The Human eye

The human body is a very complex system where you can find the most interesting creations of life. Our organs have been developing for thousands of years, and the results of this long time of evolution, are simply amazing. For me, the most amazing one is the eye, the organ that helps the brain to see the world by transforming the light into electrical impulses. Back in time, the eye was a huge advantage to survive, with the sense of vision we could see the predators around us and escape from them. We started using it to see what we were hunting, eating and distinguish colors, animals, in general, all the things in the world. In spite of the amount years of evolution, the eye has the same function has many years ago, as I said, with our eyes we can see the world and distinguish the things around us. If you forget where your eyes are, they are in the middle of our face, separated by our nose. The typical adult eye has an anterior to posterior diameter of 24 millimeters, a volume of six cubic centimeters, and a mass of 7.5 grams.

However, they can be affected by some illnesses caused by many factors, the most common are:

Post Graduate Studies

Resultado de imagen para chemistry doctorIn 2018 thinking about continue your university studies with a master degree or a PhD it's a very good decision. Nowadays, the labor market is extremely competitive because of the big amount of people that is looking for a job like you. So, Post Graduate Studies are a way to mark the difference between you and the other persons with the same degree as you, so you can find a better job and a better salary. In the future I would like to do a master degree or a PhD related with clinical pharmacy or industry pharmacy, all the depends of which one I will choose. I prefer to study here in Chile, but if an opportunity to study abroad appears, I will take it. I would like to do it with a blended system, with that way I can combine studies with technology. By the moment I am focusing in the first year of the degree, my mom always says to me “One step at the time” so will probably think in a mayor degree or a PhD when I will be in the last years of my current degree. In spite of that, I already search some information about the post graduate studies that my university offers, but again, it’s something that is too far away from the point that I am now.
